Can you name your theme? You say:

1. backup first the default directory in public/assets/themes/. Rename it to 'old-default'
2. Extract the default.zip, then upload it to public/assets/themes
3. Refresh your new theme...

Changing the theme from the admin panel is possible, so if you name your theme;
we shouldn't rename the default theme from the ftp.
Then we just select the theme from the admin panel. :)

and place img in ./public/image/

backup those folder before:
