Hello mathieu,

You should have config/config.php - if there no such file, your activeCollab would not work at all. Please refresh content of that folder with your FTP client. Some FTP clients cache a list of files in a folder for faster display, so they may not display all of the filles unless you Refresh the list.

Hi David,

I agree with you about "téléchargement", which now is understood as "download" for most poeple.

"Téléversement" is a good alternative, but is used only in Quebec I think. I don't know many French sites using it, so it looks (for me) a bit like an "Académie Française" version, not "in real life" IMHO (who talks about "butineur" right ? ;-)

That's why I kept "upload" in a first place, then I found "transférer" used in Drupal, and I thought it wasn't that bad... Taking a look at wikipedia (http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Telechargement), they propose also "déposer" or "charger" : not bad I thing...

Not easy hu ?

well, my 2 cts...

Upload is mostly translated as "téléchargement" which is not specific enough or not translated "upload" which is not satisfactory either...

I think "téléversement" is not such a bad compromise, definitely more accurate than "transfert" which is too generic IMHO...

New translation for "upload" terms.

Davidm proposed "téléversement", which is a very specific quebec term, and looks weird on a french site. I replaced it by "transfert, transféré", better than "téléchargement" (associated with downstream).

(should keep davidm version with fr_CA code)

For those who are interested, you can find attached a slightly modified version of the French translation for activecollab 2.1 (corporate), thanks to the great job of davidm.

I corrected few typos, proposed some alternatives, and added some missing translations.

This one is an XML format (use import in the admin section).

Hi Phoelis ,

I just updated Localization documentation to include more information about Importing and Exporting Translations. There you can read more about different types of translations packages (new XML package and legacy package with multiple PHP files) and how to import them.

Please let us know if you have further questions or ideas how we can improve the new articles.
