activeCollab 1.1.6 and 2.1.1 Available for Download

Two bug releases are launched today:

1. activeCollab 1.1.6 for everyone who still use 1.1 branch
2. activeCollab 2.1.1 for people who have access to 2.1 branch

Both releases and bug fix and security releases so upgrade is highly recommended. More details about these releases (release note and upgrade links) can be found in announcement post in News and Announcements blog.

Agree - if it could be like wordpress where you can do it within the application at the click of a button that would be perfect.

We'll see to make upgrade process easier in the future. Easier upgrade is in our best interest too because it lets us faster deliver new versions, have less support to do and have happier customer who recommend activeCollab to their friends :) Still, I really can't share any implementation details or make a solid promise at the moment.

No problem Ilija, I believe we all here know that you can not share any implementation details for new features :)

But I'm glad that you noticed this little gem feature. I never knew that it could bring less support for developers. Can I say, mutual benefits?

PS. I tried to upload new avatar in activecollab.com profile, but it's white blank error. Do you mind to check it out?
