Hello Ilija,

ok, this works for now, but what about Tickets that have a serie of Tasks pre-made
this been said, i have contractors with " add only " restricted access who still need to add a new task from time to time.
Could we have this too ? i mean, only allow them to add data in, not edit data.

Hack for ticket templates is not that easy, at least the implementation that we are working on for the next major activeCollab release :( If you can find a simpler solution, go for it.

PS: I can't provide any hack at the moment - changes we made are mixed with other changes that we are working on so they can't be isolated.

Hi Ilija,

thank you.

We used the template functionality quiet often the last weeks by requesting the copy-action from administrator or project leader. But sometimes these colleagues are not available.

So we want to check if we can hack the code in the meantime ?

Is that a major, complex change or easy to apply ?
Do you have a hint where we can start ?

Goal:
The project-group right "manage tickets" should cover the right to copy tickets.

Hi River,

At the moment, this feature is reserved to administrators, project managers and project leaders. I understand your intention to use it for ticket templates, but at the moment this feature is not available to other roles except the ones listed.

We'll consider extending this functionality to other roles in future releases.

Hi Ilija,

I'm wondering, why "Copy-Ticket"-functionality is only available for administrators, project managers and project leader ?

intention:
We use in AC a project called "Templates" with e.g. ticket templates, which are useful for all other projects. All project members should be able to copy ticket-templates to productive projects. How can I configure that, without changing their system-role ? I would expect, that the project-group right "manage tickets" would cover that ? ..or do I miss something ?
