[fixed] blank page after install
Page: 1
I'm running
PHP 5.0.4
MySQL 4.1.20
Apache 1.3.36 (Unix)
When I head over to /install directory I get a blank page showing nothing but white. I checked if I had short_open_tags set to on and it was.
Any ideas?
Thanks

There was people who reportad this on PHP older than PHP 5.1 too. I'll need to check it out. Can I contact you to do some testing when I'm done with the changes?

Hello all,
When I go to www.domain.com/folder/install/index.php I see the install screen... but it says Step1, yadda yadda, Installation Steps 1-5, then a button that says "finish". No sort of continue or next step link as one would expect. I click finish(only option) and and it sends me to index.php where I get error msg "Parse error: parse error, unexpected '{' in /usr/wwws/users/codoc/rasantiago/project/init.php on line 78" which sorta makes sense sinse I didn't do any configuration.
I read that you were doing an installer script rewrite last night, could this be related? Looks like an interesting piece of software, hope I can play with it soon!
THanks

This sounds like you older version of PHP. PHP5 is required to run activeCollab. What is your PHP version?

Oops, had that all typed out but forgot to paste it in.
PHP/ 4.3.10 short_open_tag=on
Apache/1.3.29
MySQL/ 4.0.16
I thought I read by Token that he figured a work around for PHP4 but now that I actually take the time to read *go figure* his post is simply how to activate if your host has is available.
Hmmmm... OK. Maybe I will pressure my host into upgrading versions. When it does I'll rush back over!
thanks!
