Hi,

We use a 'Master Template' project to base all of our new client projects on. This project was set up a few months ago and many milestones/ tickets and tasks were created to signify everything that we need to do along with an assigned due date. As it was created so long ago and we cannot complete these tasks (as then they will not appear in any projects based on the 'master template') they take up the first page of our Late/ Today tasks. As a project manager it is getting very annoying looking at this very useful list and having it crowded by these tasks.

Is there anything that I can do (or any thing that you may be planning on doing) that will limit the projects that appear in this list (or on the dashboard as a whole)?

Does anyone else have a similar issue and/ or a fix that they use?

Help with this would be very appreciated.

Thanks
Mel

Hi Mel,

You can set the status of that project to "Paused", for example. It will be removed from the list of active projects and its due dates will not interfere with your current work flow, but it will still be available at the list of templates.

Hi Oliver,
Thanks for your help back in August. It has been working a treat! Projects that are paused do not appear in the Planning module but it is a very quick couple of clicks to get it visable again.

Thanks again
Mel
