activeCollab 2.2.2 Beta is Available for Download

We are produce to announce that activeCollab 2.2.2 beta is available for download. This is third and final activeCollab 2.2 beta. It brings improved core stability and some fixes to Invoicing and Source modules. For details, please check release notes.

This version is available to everyone with valid upgrade and support package and you can download it from your activeCollab.com profile:

Thanks for the beta release.

Just tried upgrading from activeCollab corporate 2.1.2 to this activeCollab 2.2.2 Beta, experienced a problem when running the upgrade script

caboodle_incoming_mailboxes.accept_all_registered field already exists in activeCollab corporate 2.1.2, and it failed the upgrade script. To solve it, I removed the field manaully in the existing database, and run the upgrade script again, everything else went smoothly then.

Upgraded from 2.2.1 to 2.2.2 successfully.

Will do more testing but so far so good - Invoicing module feels a lot more solid than last version :)

Not sure but for some reason we picked up an extra <span> tag around the comment button and the submit button. Is this a mistake?

@Jamie: That's odd. We'll see if there are any other reports of similar behavior and check what exactly is the problem.

@Leon: Thanks - I'm glad that you like the changes

@CSBox: Can you please send us a screenshot where we can see the problem? Which browser and theme do you use?

Here is the screenshot from most recent Firefox (does in Safari as well). We are digging deeper on our side to make sure we have not missed anything.

Yes, activeCollab 2.2.2 changes the way buttons are marked up because there were problems in Windows version of WebKit. As Safari and Google Chrome are gaining popularity on Windows platform, that had to be covered.

Default theme is updated and works well. Leon already posted a solution that covers the problem for Access theme.

How long is the upgrade script supposed to run. It has been going for about five minutes but nothing has changed. It seems stuck on "creating backup" -- the first stage.

Upgrade script should not take long (a couple of seconds for each step at most). If it breaks at backup step, than system probably has problems with creating backups (it's possible on some servers).
