Hi, we have been using aC for a while now and find it very useful. However, we haven't yet found the best way to show our staff what is on their plate for a week/month in the most user-friendly manner. Of course there are the assignments but they don't show in a calendar format.

I can feed VTODO and milestones into Sunbird by Mozilla (recently found this out :) ) but there is no point every staff member seeing everything that is due. I would like to only show what they individually have to do (eg. a personalised version of the Calendar tab).

Is there a way of doing so?

Now, I know there is an RSS feed and I know a lot of ppl have been asking for it via the forum over the past few years but I am not sure how I can use this to our advantage. Could anyone tell me how they use the feed? Does it get fed into your calendars somehow to see what your jobs are for the week?

I would love to see how aC users best represent their workload per week as I feel I am really missing something.

Thanks

Fabie

Hi Fabie,

User calendars are available when you click on Schedule link in Options drop-down on user's profile page, but these pages are available to project managers only (users can't see Schedule link or access the schedule page). Schedule was added so project managers can see user's workload at a glance.

If you want to show what needs to be done in calendar view, you should use global or per project calendar. They don't filter data by user, but they give great overview of everything that needs to be done.

PS: I really don't know how would you display RSS feed in calendar view.

Thank you so much for that reply Ilija! I've been looking all day for this answer, can't believe I didn't just browse the forums.
