What you want to do needs to be programmed, but it looks like a slight change in behavior of Notifications module so you can use existing module as basis, and than modify the code and queries to fit your needs.

i installed the notification module and like you said, it only sends one notification mail a few days before a task is due. you can set the number of days and the time.

what i am looking for, is a module, thats sends every day a notification mail for each task that is assigned to the receipient and still not completed.
does anyone has a plan how i can realize such feature?

Based on details Casper provided in announcement post for this module, it sends notifications a couple of days before an assignment is due, or on the same day. As far as I can see, it sends only one reminder per user, at given number of days before assignment is due.

Please install the module and play with it to see the exact feature set if offers.

PS: This is a third party module, developed and supported by the members of community. It can't be installed on host demo (hosted demo runs only tools and modules that we develop and support), but you'll be able to install it once you get the system running on your own server.

sorry i thought you may get me wrong. i do not want to send out reminder mails for tasks that are already done, but for tasks that has to be done.

other systems only send reminder emails once a task is assigned and then 1 day before due day.

i want to have reminder emails each day for all tasks that are not yet completed to be send out to the person(s) that is / are related to a task.

Is that possible with that module?

Thank you for evaluating activeCollab, we are glad to hear that you like the system. activeCollab does not automatically send reminders when tasks are due, sorry.

You might want to check out this module because it adds the that feature. Note that custom modules are not available in the demo - you'll be able to install and use them once you purchase a license and get the system up and running on your own server.

Thanks again for testing activeCollab. Please let us know if you have any other questions :))
