yes, with project_management permission you can see tasks attached to pages. But as Ilija mentioned that is not a suitable workaround.

I'm facing the same problem. We create tickets instead of tasks in pages and waiting for AC 3.0.

Hi Ilija,
It seems that this is a bit of a weird one, as the project manager I have full permissions and can see the tasks that stem from a page in my assignments list, is this because I have the project_management permission? A number of my other colleagues can also see the tasks from pages in their list. Is this all part of the bug as well?

Sorry if I am missing the point,

Hi Mel,

Current limitation of Assignment filters is that it can't display tasks attached to pages. We consider this as a bug, but because of the complexity of the solution, it will be fixed in the major assignment filters update (activeCollab 3), not before.

Regarding project_management permission, don't give it to clients - this permissions give them full access to ALL projects, including projects of other clients. Please check out Roles and Permissions article for details.

Hi,
I am wanting to set up a client with permission to view their own assignments using the assignments filter. I have found that I can do this by assigning the project_management permission. However our clients have been restricted from using the: tickets, time, files, planning and checklists and when I assign this permission they are able to see the restricted pages.

Is there another permission that I can assign that will allow them to see their own assignments via this filter and will also continue to respect the other ruling of restricting the above pages?

We currently assign our clients numerous tasks via pages and without this functionality it is getting difficult for them to see them in an easy manner.

Help with this would be greatly appreciated. We are loving aC and hope that the new release will cover some of our other requests.

Thanks
