Project Revenue Tracking

Is it possible to tie the total billable amount to each project without setting up invoices?

For example, say I have a project that is $10,000. I generally request 50% up front and upon completion request the final 50%. So I would know that $5,000 has been invoiced and if there are any scope changes I would need to easily add to the total billable amount so that I know what the final invoice should be for. Say there's another $2,500 that needs to be added, I would need to know that my final invoice should be for $7,500.

Right now, I am not seeing a means of doing this aside from just setting up multiple invoices, but I'm new here so I could easily be missing this.

Sure thing. It's actually pretty straight-forward. All I'm looking for is 2 additional fields on the project level.

One field for "Project Revenue" and one field for "Billed Revenue". It would need to be permission controlled so that only certain people on the project could view it, but that is really all that is needed.

This would allow me to tie my project budget with how much I have billed and give me the ability to track that throughout the life cycle of the project.

Is it possible to add custom fields to projects (that could also be a solution)?
