New Category feature in Pages

I'm not sure why the Pages module is the only one without the New Category feature where you can create a new category when creating a Page. But I would really like to see this featured added to this module.

If anyone knows how to customize this even as a hack, I would be interested in that. It seems like it should be simple, since the Discussions and Tickets modules have this ability.

Ahh ok, I understand now -- I would love to see the ability to add new categories from the Page creation area in the future if it's not too complicated.

We have started using the Pages area for a sort of mini per project Docs area -- it works well because of the revision history and the ability to create tasks associated to it, as well as comments and attachments. Docs needs a bit more development to give it more flexibility in my opinion --- no file attachments to specific docs, just uploading of a single file with no description or comments or anything. Pages makes a nice alternative -- but you have to preset the categories unfortunately because there's no way to do one on the fly.
