Installing right now - can you answer a few questions?

I'm installing aC right now. I'm not so good with Linux and I've never used aC, so I want to confirm a few things before progressing. I have done the following things - I have done NOTHING not mentioned below. No PHP configuration, no SQL stuff, no user creation or anything.
My server will only be used on our internal LAN behind our firewall. It will have an internal static IP address. The open internet will not be able to see it.
- I have installed the server version of Ubuntu with MySQL and PHP.
- I have copied the "activeCollab" directory to /var/www/apache2-default/activeCollab.
- I found the HTML installation page at apache2-default/activeCollab/install
- I fixed the permissions on the required files
- I'm at the SQL screen.
QUESTIONS:
- Do I leave "hostname" in the Host Name field?
- What username, password, and database name do I need to use? Same as the admin user? I have no idea here.
- What is table prefix? I have no idea what to do with this.
- The absolute script URL - this one also has me confused.
- If I totally screw this installation up, is it easy to un-install and re-install?
I'm assuming that ActiveCollab will handle creation of necessary database users in the web admin screens when the time comes after the installation is complete.

Btw - database hostname, user, pass... are database connection params. Name of the host, username and password, name of the database and what prefix will be used for tables (leave as is if you don't know what to do with it ;) ). Absolute URL is URL of activeCollab... Where it will be... http://localhost/activeCollab/ ?
Administrator username, password and email are for you: how will you login to the system. Company name is name of your company, put anything you like if you don't have a company :D

It's all up and running now.
Just my two cents - I'm a very basic user who's experience with UNIX is pretty much limited to Mac OS X - so I'm a serious newbie. There are a LOT of people like me. I was able to get this system up and running pretty easily using Ubuntu's Server OS (with its easy LAMP installation), an old Mac G4 tower, and your great software package.
If the intent of aC is to be easy to install for anyone, you're well on your way (great work!) - but keep in mind that beginner users (like me) may not have the background knowledge and experience with MySQL/PHP setup and administration required to get this up and running without and problems.
I had no idea that I had to create a database, name it, and get that all done before I ran the installation PHP stuff in my browser for the first time. If I had done these steps out of order, then I may have run into problems and screwed up the installation. For someone like me, that may have easily meant leaving aC behind and moving to another solution without giving this one a second chance.
Honestly, if I had not stumbled upon the post at:

I probably would have given up. I really had no idea that there was more to it than simply installing MySQL. I really didn't know that I had to create a database (I thought one was created for me by the aC installer).
This would have all not been an issue if there was a .php doc in the installation pages telling me that I need to create a database. It would have been perfect if it appeared right after the page that tested all the permissions to the directories, and before the page where I have to name the database and all that stuff.
I can help write it if you want, or you can pull from the forum post that I linked to above. That's the one I used, and it made sense to someone like me for the most part.
OK, I'll get down off my soapbox now. I'm looking forward to using aC. This should be a fun ride.

No longer has the information? Or am I not looking hard enough. I have no idea with this database stuff. I know the username pass for my database as I created it but its saying "failed to connect to database".
