I'm finding it very difficult to have an overview of a developer.
For example, if I am managing Dave, I can't see what Dave has recently completed/logged time for/etc. or what issues are currently Open for him in any organized manner.
What exact information are you most interested in?
You can create an assignment filter that will display Dave's assignments and sort them by due date, time of creation etc. This filter can display all assignments, or just active or completed.
