All, I have a project that I'm tracking in aC. Howver, the project is generating a series of requirements documents that have to be validated through IT then through the business.

My hope is to keep revisions of the document(s) in aC and archive/track comments and changes to the document based on the IT and Business reviews. I'm curious to know if others have used aC in this way?

Also, how can I track individuals comments against the document? Is there a good way anyone can think of? It would be nice to track the process to this level!

Thanks for any help/ideas anyone may have!

Hello,

Have you checked out Pages?

We use pages extensively to do this, and it works really well. We embed any flowcharts and screenshots as jpgs in the pages and it becomes a fantastic reference/scope system.

The only issue is that the context of related pages is difficult to find and really confuses users to no end.

We had to start numbering our pages (like a proper outline format; A,B,C / 01,02,03) so primary pages are alphabetized and secondary pages are numbered.

Unfortunately this still is not evident when landing on the "pages" home page, because it want to display revisions and history, which if multiple users are editing or if edits occur on mixed pages REALLY confuses everyone.

The best thing to do is tell everyone up front to look in the "side tabs" and it will help them get some clarity. It does not really solve the problem, but it is workable. Given the fact that the functionality of the pages themselves is great we find that its workable enough to use it over any other approach.
