Just a note to tablet users, in the meantime activeCollab works very well in the Android and iPad browser already. I use it often from my Asus Transformer with and without the keyboard.

Also we have just released an update to our productivity module Quickify that will make working from any touch device even better.... You just touch and slide on any ticket or task link to get access to the Quickify view from the Dashboard... To quickly reply, add tasks, view the last comment, etc for an existing item showing up in your dashboard activity or Tabinator tabs.

Learn more here, http://activelabs.ca/new-improved/

Has anyone else been using activeCollab on tablets or the iPad? How is it working for you?

Add another interest for Android app... recently made the switch from iPhone but looking forward to options on both platforms as my iPhone is still in use as a backup/ipod touch and I'll likely be using an iPad (or Android equivalent if a decent one emerges) before long as well.

Maybe only cool iPhone users use cool web apps like activeCollab...

@justthisguy - The price will be that way until it hits 1.1. So there will be a few more releases before we get to that point.

The specific review you are referring to was a little aggravating to me as he praised the app and then gave it one star because it lacked one specific feature he wanted. I interviewed a slew of companies that use activecollab and not one single one uses activecollab in the way the reviewer uses it. I have since found out that a lot of people do...so I made adjustments in the development timeline to include the feature in the 1.02 release, which was just submitted to the apple store.

In 1.02 you can add tasks to tickets now and track time directly against ticket tasks and standalone tasks as well

1.1 will be a free upgrade to current app owners and include a new UI with some cool features...it will feel like a full solution.

Current version can log time, discussions, comments on discussions, tickets and comments and tasks on tickets, and you can create checklists and assign user tasks.
