In the past, when clients send an email to a particular email address, my system would scan the the email box (via cron job). Then it would create a ticket in a designated project, and sends out a notification email to the staff who is responsible for the project.

However, after upgrading to 2.3.1, the email notification is no longer being sent out.

Does anyone else have the same issue?

Hello Wei,

Do you get the ticket created? Or the import fails?

Yes, the ticket is created correctly, but the email is not sent.

As the ticket is created by the system, there is no assignee. But the project leader is set up as the subscriber on the ticket. In this case, an email should have been sent out.

I'm very interested to hear the results of this issue, as I have not updated to 2.3.1 yet but plan to update soon and we rely heavily on the incoming mail module.

Sorry, it was a false alarm! For some reason, my email server put all the emails sent from AC to Spam box, and unfortunately, I didn't set up my email client to display the spam box.

Sorry about that. The email function IS working properly, and AC is working properly.

Thank you for the followup, we are glad to hear that you found what was the cause of the problem.
