We are proud to announce that activeCollab Timer 1.0.2 is available for download. While still in beta and still Windows only, we have following issues covered:
- fixed problem with UTF8 characters
- fixed HTTPS server connection
- storage location OS dependent
- fixed submitting time entry attached to project
- fixed communication with server which has mod_security enabled
- only one instance of the application can be running at the time
Here's the general info on activeCollab Timer application:
activeCollab Timer tracks time on your desktop computer and lets you easily submit it to activeCollab via activeCollab API.
Highlighted features:
* Track time in multiple activeCollab installations
* Support for multiple timers (only one can be active at a time)
* Submit time for a project, a ticket or a task
* Complete a ticket or a task with time submission
* Idle time detection
* Minimal interval and rounding

Mac OS X version has just been uploaded and it's available for download here. This is just a quick info. We'll post proper announcement in the next couple of days.
Thank you for helping us test activeCollab Timer. We hope you like how it turned out.
Hello Ilija I like it very much! Very useful application! Only one thing I would like, to not show non active projects :) Everything else so far seems to be perfect ! :)
We are glad to hear that you like our application.
Can you please provide us with more details on non active projects issue? By default they should not be displayed. Some screenshots would be appreciated :)
Timer list lists only timers (you can have many timers defined, but only one can be active at any given time), not projects and tasks. Once you click on refresh, system will load all projects, tickets and tasks from activeCollab, so you'll be able to select them when you edit or submit timers.
PS: Refresh is required and it needs to be fully completed before you can submit any timers to the system. Initial data load may take a while, so give it some time to get completed.
A way to quick create a project and close a project would be helpful.
Sometimes I get into a flow and something is requested that it would be cool to be able to create a project/ticket/etc very quickly and start timing what I am doing on that new request.
I haven't thought this out in a huge amount of detail so I will post more information late as I think this through but I wanted to see what people thought.
