I have tried this with visualSVN and in the source settings it sees the svn.exe based on the path I give it but then when I go to a project to add a repositorie to the source tap and it comes back and says the svn.exe path is not valid but then I click check path and it says valid.

I did notice when I add say c:\visualsvn\bin it changes it to c:\visualsvn\bin/
so not sure if this is an issue but it won't work at all with visualsvn right now for us due to this and with visualsvn being one of the only ways to use svn with IIS I am out of luck right now.

Hello Peter,

I've already replied to your support request, but I'll post the answer here as well, in case someone stumbles upon this topic looking for a solution.

Basically, activeCollab currently does not work well on Windows if SVN path has spaces in the file path. We are working on the fix this issue, but in the meantime set up SVN so svn.exe is located in a folder with no spaces in the path.

We're a Windows shop, but have set-up ActiveCollab under IIS using a PHP plug-in and having set-up a MySQL database server.

I've just upgraded up to the latest version of ActiveCollab (2.3.1), but I'm having difficultly getting the SVN integration working.

As shown in the screenshot here: (http://www.avonandsomerset.police.uk/secure/ActiveCollabSVN.png) I can't get ActiveCollab to find the svn executable.

We've got VisualSVN Server installed on the same server of ActiveCollab, which has the svn.exe under the "C:\Program Files\VisualSVN Server\bin" location shown in the screenshot.

I've tried specifying:
* C:\Program Files\VisualSVN Server\bin
* file://C:\Program Files\VisualSVN Server\bin

Plus added 'C:\Program Files\VisualSVN Server\bin' under the Windows PATH settings, but nothing seems to work.

If anyone has any suggestions I'd be most grateful.

Thanks
Peter
