Configuring incoming mail

I am looking to find out exactly how to do this. I am not able to be in my project manager on my cell phone and respond to messages, because I cannot flip through the pages of projects. It tells that the page does not exist. Therefore a need to configure the incoming mail client. So if I reply to an e-mail to automatically post to the discussion necessary, can someone please tell me or guide me on how to set this up. do I set it up using the administrator e-mail address that is registered on my software? I'm willing to pay someone if they could just help me figure this out

Incoming mail documentation is available here. Note that scheduled tasks are required for incoming mail to automatically check mailboxes and import messages.

If you have any specific questions, please let us know.

PS: Can you also explain the problem where system restricts you access to specific pages. Depending on what you are trying to do, that should not happen so you may be trying to find a workaround for problem that should not be present in the first place.

From my Droid X and my original Droid and my mother in laws iphone when I open the project page from my cell - and click projects it gives the first page with no problem, when I try and view the second page, it says page does not exist (this only happens from my cell)

If I give you my login details for my pms would you take a look and configure the mail client for me I would pay you to do this I just dont have a clue what Im doing.

@bullynj -- I would be happy to help with the incoming mail client configuration, I have done this several times for my clients who use ActiveCollab. You can send me a message via my profile in the forums here or via the support link at www.activelabs.ca

You might also want to try another browser for Android, I use Opera Mini on the Blackberry because the default BB browser doesn't work as well. You can download Opera Mini here

I don't have an Android phone but from what I've read Dolphin and Opera might be good choices to try.

Either way, I would definitely recommend setting up the Incoming Mail module it's so much faster when just needing to respond to a comment or ticket that's been created --- but it's good to have both tools available to you.

Just checked - pagination of projects in mobile interface should work just fine in all mobile browsers. If you get in touch with our support team, we'll check your setup to confirm hat everything is working properly.

Hey there,
I setup a test project using your trial to make sure it wasnt just my setup and the same thing happens, I post a msg on the manager for the trial - when the notificaiton email comes I click on the link and it takes me to the mobile interface, but when Im logged in if I go back to that email and click the link again it takes me to the non mobile interface.

Same thing with the page problem with being able to go to page 2

We'll look into this scenario and see to have it covered in one of the upcoming releases (can't promise any due date or version at the moment).

I just checked the demo and I can't reproduce the problem, at least I can't reproduce pagination problem on Projects page in mobile interface. Can you please post step by step instructions how to reproduce it. Screenshot would be great.
