If you are moving source code than don't forget to delete /cache/autoloader.php and make /cache writable so autoloader.php can be recreated.

I tried setting it up in a subdomain. The only problem is, I already have a lot of data in my existing aC install. When I try to use the existing DB, it wont setup because the tables are already setup.

Ok, for DreamHost users... Inspired by hoodahmahn's work around, I have created as sub-domain, i.e. collab.mysite.com and installed AC in it and it now works. Actually I prefer this instead of as a subdirectory, and it's also free of charge, you don't need to register it :)

So, this issue is closed for me, hope it fixes everyone's...

Update:

DreamHost support is looking into the problem as it relates to their servers.

We had to do something, so I decided to take a chance and dedicate aC to its own domain. This shouldn't have to be, but since placing aC in a folder doesn't seem to work - the attempt would at least be interesting. :)

We are now up and running on aC with no issues - yet. **Note: I re-installed aC on the original domain I was wanting to use it on, back into a folder of its own. And it still doesn't work.

I hope the aC team can figure out what the problem is. People shouldn't have to dedicate an entire domain to their wonderful project management app.

I posted an inquiry to DreamHost Support on 02/22/2007 (tracking #1742458) and am still waiting.

Unfortunately, I need a project management app right now. Will try to use aC and see how far we get.

I've tested one-click install on Dreamhost and everything is working as expected. My account is on 'good' (that is the server name).

Please contact Dreamhost support and ask is there anything specific with their PHP setup on server you are using that we should know about. Anything different?
