We're happy to annonce that new activeCollab release is here for you. It's activeCollab 2.3.6. You will find it on your www.activeCollab.com profile page.

This is a bug fix release, so we highly recomend you to upgrade your current activeCollab setup. You will find upgrade instructions in this article.

Besides fixing a few known issues, we have also add some enhancements in this release. Some of them are better trash management, Status module improvements, and more. You can check the release notes for more details.

New activeCollab release is waiting for you on your www.activeCollab.com profile page. This is a compatibility release that covers one PHP4 related problem, as well as problem where Google Chrome would load print preview stylesheets even though they are marked as disabled.

If you have been bussy these days, and have already upgraded on activeCollab 2.3.4, there's no need to do the whole upgrade process all over again.. A simple fix (explained here) will do the trick. In case you have an older release than activeCollab 2.3.4 you should do a full upgrade. And instructions in this article will help you to do that.

We are proud to announce that activeCollab 2.3.4 is available for downloadThis is a bug fix release with some smaller enhancements: comments are ordered so new ones are on the top, we improved some existing assignment filters and added a couple of new ones, permissions are tweaked a bit so default permissions make more sense etc. For full list of changes, please check out release notes.

We have a pleasure to notify you that we have made some updates on activeCollab Demo platform:

We have extended activeCollab trial period - instead of the 7 days free Hosted Demo + 30 days paid extension, we are now offering 30 days free Hosted Demo.

You can try activeCollab and explore all of its features for a month, and see if it fits your business needs. After this period expires, there is no option to extend it, because we no longer offer paid extension. If you really need more time to test activeCollab, contact us, and we'll see if there is something that we can do to help.

We wish to announce that we have just strated Beta testing phase of our two new modules:

1. Microsoft Project Importer

By using this module you will be able to import your projects started in Microsoft Project and work on them in activeCollab. Module is available for download and testing, and you can find it here

2. WebDAV

WebDAV module is designed to make file managemnet easier. By using any WebDAV client (OSX Finder, Windows Explorer, Transmit...) you will be able to access activeCollab just like any other folder on your computer. Here you will see list of your projects and file categories as subfolders where you can manipulate with all files.
