More site updates...
A small, but important step forward
Out website has gone through minor reconstruction during this weekend:
- There is a centralized user database. If you had an account on old forum you will be able to login with your old username and password. Registration is required if you wish to post on forum. Commenting is also a bit easier when you are logged in because you don't need to enter your personal data all over again (remembering data in a cookie for unregistered people should be provided in the near future).
- Forum is completely redone and integrated with the website. Old topics and posts are preserved, but there are some cases where character set conversion (from latin1 to utf8) made some pretty strange things. I would like to say thanks to Ivana and Sekjur.com for providing hosting for old forum. You helped us when we needed it the most and I hope that we'll be able to help back in the future.
Idea is to provide a website that will let people easily get involved with the project. Working on documentation and tutorials, helping other users when they have problems, sharing translation, templates and plugins etc should be easy and without hacks. This set of changes is just the first step. Things that are coming soon are website search, translation repository and wiki-like content management for website pages.
If you find any problems on the website or script just does not behave as expected please report back so we can fix it.

Code is 100% new, but construction of the application is punBB inspired. I wanted to move all existing data from the old forum so the easiest way to go was to keep things similar to original.
Very nicely done! You’ve been busy. Do you have a day job?
Yes, I do have a “day” job (when you work from home with 6 – 9 hours timezone difference “day” part sometimes sounds a bit weird because most of the work is done in the late afternoon).
Hi Ilija,
Great job. ActiveCollab own site is becaming so neatly integrated that it is almost a product by itself :)
Best and thanks.

Great Ilija, thanks for all your work on this. I will be using activecollab to manage a education development projects – a great tool, couldn’t do it without.
